Building Off Acquisitions of Entelios AG and Activation Energy, EnerNOC Showcases Its Integrated Offerings for European Utilities

AMSTERDAM, Nov. 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - EnerNOC, Inc. (Nasdaq:ENOC), a leading provider of energy intelligence software (EIS), today officially launched its continental European presence at European Utility Week, the premier annual conference for European energy industry professionals, focusing on grid innovation, storage, renewables, smart metering and other topics. EnerNOC, which already works with leading European utilities and grid operators including VERBUND, EirGrid, DONG Energy, and BKW Energy, will be showcasing its worldwide market-leading demand response solutions, and introducing the European market to its suite of energy intelligence software.

Earlier this year, EnerNOC acquired two European companies, Entelios AG, a German-headquartered demand response company, and Ireland-based Activation Energy. Both companies have been fully integrated into EnerNOC, creating a best of breed platform to help European utilities engage their commercial and industrial customers.

"Since the acquisition, the EnerNOC and former Entelios and Activation Energy teams have worked together to seamlessly blend our operations and deliver energy intelligence software to our European customers," said Jeff Renaud, Senior Director of Market Development at EnerNOC. "We are excited to go to market leveraging the equity of the EnerNOC brand throughout Europe."

EnerNOC has offices throughout the region, including several locations in Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. In addition to its utility solutions, EnerNOC sells energy intelligence software directly to large enterprises looking for software-based solutions to take control of energy costs and improve productivity, such as General Motors, Microsoft, Paulaner Brewery, and Deutsche Bank Real Estate. As part of its EIS solution, EnerNOC offers utility bill management throughout continental Europe and in more than 100 countries worldwide.
