DERMALOG, the biometrics innovation leader, has invented the first in the world combined scanner which scans both passports and fingerprints on the same scanning surface. Until now two different scanners were required: one for passports and one for fingerprints. Now one scanner can capture both on the same surface. This innovation is an ideal solution for electronic gates, kiosks, border control and national registration. DERMALOG is showing the new combined scanner, called VF1, at the CARTES exhibition in Paris from 17th until 19th September 2015.
