Johnson Controls Inaugurates New Seating Plant and a Joint Venture With Magneti Marelli in Kragujevac, Serbia

Two new plants supply Fiat 500L production

KRAGUJEVAC, Serbia, February 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Johnson Controls, a global leader in automotive seating, interiors and electronics, manufactures complete seats for the new Fiat 500L in a new just-in-time (JIT) plant in Kragujevac, Serbia. The company also supplies complete interiors, including door panels, instrument panels, floor consoles and rear quarter panels through a joint venture with PCMA, a division of Magneti Marelli S.p.A.

Johnson Controls' new seating plant is located in the Grosnica Supplier Park near the city of Kragujevac. The interiors plant, a joint venture between Johnson Controls and Magneti Marelli, is located within the Fiat Automobiles Serbia (FAS) facility.

Both plants supply the FAS facility in Kragujevac, where the 500L compact MPV is assembled.
