During three days of debates a number of discussion panels, presentations of reports and lectures of experts will be held. The topic will be divided in three topical groups: exploration/transportation/hydrocarbons; production/distribution of electric energy; renewable energy/climate policy/ecology and environment protection.
The Energy Forum in Sopot is the largest energy conference in Poland and Central Europe. It will be attended by around 500 individuals from the European Union, Russia, Ukraine and the USA. It is worth noting a significant participation of foreign companies and institutions from the energy sector. The Forum opens with a plenary session titled "The EU energy policy : in the search of a compromise" with the participation of government officials, business executives and EU decision-makers.
During a three-day conference, we plan to hold more than 20 panels including: "European, Regional and Geopolitical Consequences of the Liberalisation of the Gas Market", "The Future of Shale Gas - A Window of Opportunity or an Illusion?", "New Energy Regulations in Poland and their Impact on the Development of Renewables", "Integration of Renewables with the National Energy System", "How does European Infrastructure Investment Align with Building the Single European Energy Market?", "Nuclear Energy and Energy Security - Opportunities and Risks"; "Innovation and Ecology in Low-Energy Consuming Construction".
The Forum will be held in Sheraton Sopot Hotel.
