Four Nobel Peace Laureate for no military attack on Syria ask to convene a General Assembly of the United Nations

The following Nobel Peace Laureates today called upon Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki Moon, To act immediately to save Syria from US military attack.

They said: The United Nations has a duty to fulfil its mandate and do all it can in the service of peace. When one of its members is threatened by the United States.

To convene an emergency special session of the General Assembly to discuss Syria and to Adopt a resolution which forbids any attack by the USA on Syria. The Secretary General himself must work to obtain the consent of the majority of member. States to ensure this emergency General Assembly meeting takes place as quickly as possible.

With the passing of such a resolution it would mean the enforecement of Geneva Peace II Conference, and moving forward for a peaceful political solution based on the wishes of all the Syrian people, who are calling for no military intervention by USA and a solution based on all inclusive dialogue and reconciliation for their people.
