PKN ORLEN Supervisory Board consent for realization of project of building a power plant in Ploc
kRegulatory announcement no 281/2014 dated 26 November 2014
Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN Spolka Akcyjna ("PKN ORLEN") hereby informs that on 25 November 2014 the PKN ORLEN Supervisory Board gave consent for realization of project of building a cogeneration CCGT at production plant in Plock ("Power plant").
The Supervisory Board decision concludes the process of corporate approvals and starts the final stage of preparations to sign agreement with the general contractor. Start-up of the Power plant, of 596 MWe, is planned for the end of 2017.The estimated value of the project of building a Power plant, including building in "turn key" formula and infrastructure, will amount to ca. PLN 1,65 bn.Simultaneously with agreement for building in "turn key" formula PKN ORLEN will conclude long-term service agreement.
