Conference on the Poland Uprising 1863 and its reception in Switzerland

The conference "The Poland Uprising 1863, its reception in Switzerland and J. Franz von Erlach's 'Die Kriegfuhrung der Polen im Jahr 1863'" will take place on Thursday, 18 April 2013, 17:30-19:30 hrs, at the Warszawski Dom Technika (ul. Tadeusza Czackiego 3/5, 00-043 Warszawa). The event is organized by the Swiss Embassy and the Swiss Defense Attache and takes place under the honorary patronage of both the President of the Republic of Poland and the President of the Swiss Confederation. The speakers are Prof. Dr. Tomasz Kizwalter (University of Warsaw), Dr. Jurg Stussi-Lauterburg (Colonel GS, Director of the Swiss Military Library) and Prof. Dr. Halina Florkowska-Francic (Jagiellonian University, Cracow).
