Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. ("the Company") hereby informs that on 9 October2014 it received from ING Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny ("the Fund") the notification on Company's shares acquisition and on the percentage share in the total number of votes gained because of this acquisition, i.e. notification on exceeding 5% of the total number of votes at the Company's general meeting of shareholders.

As per information contained in the said notice:

1. Date and type of event triggering the change of shareholding that thenotification refers to:

Acquisition of shares which was settled on 6 October 2014

2. Number of shares held before the change of shareholding and thepercentage of share capital it represents and the number of votes attached to these shares and the percentage of the total number of vote they represent

Number of shares: 4,300,586 representing 4,33 % of the Company's sharecapital

Number of votes carried by these shares: 4,300,586 representing 4,33 %of the total number of votes at the Company's General Meeting of Shareholders

3. Number of currently held shares and the percentage of share capitalthey represent plus the number of votes attached to these shares and the percentage of the total number of votes they represent

On 9 October 2014, on the Fund's securities account 5,110,586 Company'sshares are stored, which represents 5,15 % of the Company's share capital. These shares entitle to 5,110,586 votes at the Company's General Meeting of Shareholders, which represents 5,15 % of the total number of votes at the Company's General Meeting of Shareholders.
